Disclaimer: 

this spinner is designed for big substrates. You’ll notice, it doesn’t spin as fast as your cake spinner. I don’t recommend it when you’re mostly working on small canvasses. Yes, it works too but you’ll get a better result with a small spinner like my other design; the “The bäby spinner”
The big guy needs the weight of a big canvas  to perform at his best.

A 13x13’’ birch plywood base spinner with four attachable arms that convert your small guy into a spinner that is 37’’ in diameter, fits up to a 3x3 ft canvas. And even bigger with some minor modifications like adding bigger wood pieces on top to support a huge canvas.

-heavy duty ball bearing

-coated birch ply for less movement in wet areas (which i count paint in)

-metal screw inserts for countless attach/deattachings (convertible version only)

-convertible from 13x13” to 37x37”

(for the super heavy stuff) I suggest to upgrade to a synthetical lubed bearing that will give you a smoother turning experience. It will turn a little slower but steadier which is perfect for heavy substrates. This would be a not convertible version because the bearing is not suited for small pieces. it will need the weight of a big canvas for a satisfying spin performance.
